General Information
When is the Fall Festival open?
The Fall Festival runs from TBD. We're open on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and select weekdays starting October 6, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
When is the best time to come?
The farm reaches capacity quickly on weekends and holidays. For the best chance of entry, we recommend arriving right at 10:00 AM. Weekday visits guarantee entry with a more relaxed experience, though not all offerings are available those days.
What are your hours?
Weekends & Holidays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Weekdays: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Special holiday openings include Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Columbus Day.

Tickets & Admission
What's included with admission?
Admission is TBD. Your ticket covers wagon rides, the corn maze, mini golf, Super Mega Slide (42″ height restriction), straw pyramid, duck races, wallboard games, wooden play structures, inflatable axe throw, basketball hoops, cornhole, and photo ops.
What costs extra?
Extra charges apply to farmstand items, food concessions, pick-your-own produce/flowers, and the Daytime Haunted House.
Do I need to make a reservation?
No. Tickets are sold at the door only on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-sale tickets and online reservations are unavailable. The last ticket is sold at 4:00 PM daily.
Activities & Attractions
What's new for 2026?
New attractions include an Inflatable Pumpkin Jump Pad, Wee Ones Playhouse, Meet & Greet Cinderella (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM), and Mechanical Bee Races.
What's open during the week?
Our Weekday Festival Options run 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM and include limited playground attractions, food, farmstand, corn maze, and pumpkin/vegetable/flower picking.
Is there a haunted house?
Yes! Our Daytime Haunted House runs in October on select dates (TBD) from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Tickets are TBD. It features gory and scary props, recommended for older audiences.
Can I pick pumpkins?
Yes! We offer pumpkin, vegetable, and flower picking with pricing by size or quantity.
Do you offer apple picking?
We offer pumpkin picking and vegetable picking, but we do not offer apple picking at Schmitt's Family Farm.
What's the theme of the corn maze this year?
The 2026 corn maze theme is TBD. It covers 7 acres.
Rules & Policies
Can we bring outside food?
No. Outside food is not permitted on the farm, unless it is required for medical reasons.
Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed on the farm, with the exception of certified service animals.
Can I bring my drone?
Absolutely not. Drones are not permitted anywhere on our premises. They pose safety risks and the location is too close to an airport for legal operation.
Can I bring a ball and play catch?
No. For the safety of all our visitors, balls and games of any kind are not permitted inside the farm.
Can I bring my own wagon for pumpkins?
Yes! You're welcome to bring your own wagon this season. We also offer wagons on a first-come, first-served basis for $5, sanitized between uses.
Facilities & Amenities
Do you accept credit cards?
Credit cards (Visa & MasterCard) are accepted at admission, U-Pick, farm stand, and corn maze. Cash Only applies to concessions, roasted corn, pony rides, and haunted house. An ATM is available Saturdays and Sundays.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes! An ATM is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Is there free parking?
Yes! Parking is free in our lot, and there is plenty of additional free parking in the area.
Groups & Events
Do you offer private parties?
No, we do not offer private parties at Schmitt's Family Farm.
Do you offer fall field trips for groups or schools?
At this time, F&W Schmitt's Family Farm is no longer offering fall field trips for groups or schools. We encourage public attendance during Fall Festival weekends and holiday openings.

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE) to Exit 49N. Merge onto Route 110, continue for three lights, then turn right onto Pinelawn Rd. The farm will be on your left.

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE) to Exit 49N. Turn right at the first light onto Pinelawn Rd. The farm will be about 1/4 mile on your right.
